Teams do them for a colleague's last day. Classes do them for a kid stuck at home. It works anywhere a card gets passed around.
Two ways to watch
Play them all, or go straight to Grandma's.
Their page holds every approved message. Press play once and they run one after another, each with the sender's name on screen — or scan the faces and pick. Both live on the same page, always.
Auntie Prema · 6 of 23Play all
One after another, hands free. Each clip rolls into the next with the sender's name shown between them. Pause, skip back, or leave it running — it's their evening, at their pace.

Pick a face
A grid of faces and names, so they can find the one person they want to hear from again — the roommate, the boss, the kid down the hall — and watch it on its own.
How it works
Three steps, zero chasing.
Step one
Start the gift, share one link.
Name the honoree, pick the occasion, set a deadline. You get a link and a printable QR card to text, email, or leave on a table.
Step two
Everyone records from their phone.
They tap the link, hit record, done. No app to install, no account to make, no login for anyone but you.
Step three
You approve. They watch.
Review every clip before it goes in. When you're ready, send the page — and download all the originals as a zip to keep.
For the party itself
Print the card. Leave it by the cake.
A postcard-sized card with the QR code and one line of instruction. People scan it between conversations and record thirty seconds standing right there — the ones who'd never get around to it at home.
A group gift for Aisha
Scan to leave her a video message.
Point your camera here. Record 30 seconds. No app, no account.
You're in control
Nothing goes in without your nod.
Every clip lands in your review queue first. Approve it, reorder it, or quietly leave it out — and when you're ready, close contributions and send the page.
- ✓ Approve or hide any clip
- ✓ Drag to reorder
- ✓ Download all as a zip
Plainly
What a Group Gift actually is.
We'd rather set the expectation than oversell it.
What you get
- ✓One page holding every approved message.
- ✓Play-all: clips run back to back, sender's name shown between each.
- ✓A grid of faces to jump to any single message.
- ✓Every original clip, downloadable as one zip.
- ✓A link and printable QR card that need no account to use.
What it isn't
- —Not a single edited video file — it's sequential playback, closer to a slideshow than a montage.
- —No music bed, transitions, or colour grading added.
- —No professional editor touches the clips. They arrive as recorded.
- —Clip quality is whatever their phone captured, in whatever room they stood in.
Questions
The ones people always ask.
- Do contributors need an account?
- No. They open the link or scan the card, allow camera access, record, and they're done. Only you, as the organizer, have an account.
- How long can each message be?
- Up to three minutes each, and most people land around forty seconds. You'll see the length of every clip in your review queue before you approve it.
- Can I see who has recorded so far?
- Your review queue shows every message that has arrived, who it's from, and how long it runs. Anyone who scans the QR card can add themselves — you don't have to invite people one by one.
- What does the honoree actually see?
- One page with their name on it. A big Play all button that runs every approved clip in order, with each sender's name on screen between messages, plus a grid of faces below so they can rewatch any single one. It's playback of individual clips, not one edited film.
- Can we keep the videos?
- Yes. Download every original clip as a single zip, at full quality, any time.
- What if someone records something awkward?
- You approve every clip before it appears. Hide it, and it never shows up on their page — the sender isn't notified either way.

Someone you know has a birthday coming.
Set it up in two minutes. Send one link. Watch what comes back.
